Part of Late Iron Age to Early Roman rotary quern. The surviving piece represents approximately one third of the originally ring-shaped upper stone of classic 'bee-hive' form. The outer sides angle inwards, towards the top. The inverted-conical hopper is centrally located and there is also a conical handle socket which extends horizontally through the stone, from the outer face to just short of the hopper. Part of a post-Medieval bone brush. The sub-rectangular, flat-sectioned head is missing its upper portion. On one of the two wider surfaces, four columns of circular indentations represent points of attachment for the now-missing bristles. The opposite surface has four parallel grooves, aligned longitudinally, around which there is green copper corrosion. This staining is also visible within the broken indentations at the top of the brush. The head tapers into the remaining portion of the straight-sided shaft. Part of a copper-alloy purse bar, dating from the Late Medieval to early post-Medieval periods. The piece represents the end of one side of the bar; it is of circular section and has a perforated tab at its base. At the distal end of the bar, a spigot is located within a truncated-conical terminal. A Roman copper-alloy ear scoop. The flat-sectioned body, slightly bent, is 'leaf shaped', the sides bowing outwards at the top before becoming parallel, tapering towards the bottom, where there is an oval scoop. A line of herringbone incisions extends vertically down the centre of the upper surface. The neck is located at the top and consists of a solid cylinder, separated from the body by a simple moulding. A copper-alloy nail-cleaner of Early Roman date. The flat-sectioned body is 'leaf-shaped', the bowed upper half tapering into the straight-sided lower half, which terminates in a pair of forked points. On both surfaces of the body, a perimeter groove extends parallel to each side, beginning halfway down the wider upper portion. The loop is set at a right angle to the top of the body. Length: 49.3mm; width: 9.5mm; thickness: 0.9mm; weight: 1.7g. Crummy classifies this form of nail-cleaner as the 'Baldock' type, suggesting it dates from the 1st or 2nd century AD (Crummy 2001: 2 - 3).

Part of a Late Roman copper-alloy bracelet. The surviving piece represents the terminal end from a penannular type bracelet of 'hook-and- eye' type. The hoop is of 'D-shaped' section, its straight sides converging towards the terminal. A series of transverse grooves decorates the upper surface of the hoop and a simple moulding separates it from the terminal. A Late Iron Age copper-alloy brooch of La Tène III, Knotenfibeln type, dating from the early to mid 1st century BC. The brooch has been made in one piece, with the top of the bow curled upwards to form the remaining two coils of the spring.
