A medieval silver cut halfpenny of Henry III (1216-1272). Long cross Class 3c (North 988) dating to 1248-1250. Minted by Nicole at London. The coin is 18mm in length, and weighs 0.576 grams. It has suffered a crack at its mid point, following the void in the cross.

Incomplete medieval openwork two-piece sword scabbard chape, part of one piece only. The right-hand edge and a tall upright which would have continued the left-hand edge are missing. Part of a copper-alloy purse bar, dating from the Late Medieval to early post-Medieval periods. The piece represents the end of one side of the bar; it is of circular section and has a perforated tab at its base. At the distal end of the bar, a spigot is located within a truncated-conical terminal. A pattern of double cross-hatched grooves decorates the surfaces of the bar, with a pair of vertical lines marking the end of the design and a second pair at the outer end of the terminal knob. Incomplete medieval openwork rectangular strap fitting, probably a strap end, formed from one piece of thick copper alloy sheet. Almost all of one side is missing. The openwork depicts, within a grooved frame, a lion rampant. The rear part is extremely short, hardly projecting beyond the fold. Incomplete medieval copper alloy composite strap-end of crescentic type, the front of the crescent is decorated with engraved foliate decoration and cast sub-lozengiform foliar knop with deep V-sectioned engraved grooves. Both points of the crescent are missing where broken across a rivet-hole, two further rivet-holes contain copper alloy rivets at springing of knop, and retain a scrap of the sheet back plate on reverse.
