Part of Late Iron Age to Early Roman rotary quern.
The surviving piece represents approximately one third of the originally ring-shaped upper stone of classic 'bee-hive' form. The outer sides angle inwards, towards the top. The inverted-conical hopper is centrally located and there is also a conical handle socket which extends horizontally through the stone, from the outer face to just short of the hopper. The flat underside of the stone is well worn through use.

A complete copper alloy toggle of Iron Age to Roman date. The toggle is of the dumbbell type comprising two globular hemispherical terminals joined by a waisted central circular shaft. Narrow collars are present where the shaft and terminals meet.
The metal has a dark greenish-brown patina and is worn. The toggle is 23.5mm long, 10.3mm in diameter at the terminals, 5.9mm in diameter at the shaft and weighs 8.6g.
Numerous similar examples have been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database, for example: YORYM-1A6833, SWYOR-72CC15A, NARC-4C2B74 and NCL-DD6E92.

A Late Iron Age copper-alloy brooch of La Tène III, Knotenfibeln type, dating from the early to mid 1st century BC.
The brooch has been made in one piece, with the top of the bow curled upwards to form the remaining two coils of the spring. The bow and spring are of circular section, the diameter gradually declining towards the foot end. Approximately halfway down the bow, there is a baluster moulding, and a short distance above the foot, a kink, which may or may not be a deliberately created feature. An unidentified object of late Iron Age to Roman date. The object is circular in plan with four triangular cells each of which bears traces of enamel fill, red and yellow alternately. One cell is now hollow die to wear and the rim of a second has been lost to old worn breaks. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
The metal has a light green patina and is worn. The object is 13.2mm in diameter, 3.4mm thick and weighs 1.7g.

An incomplete copper alloy harness fitting of late Iron Age to early Roman date. The fitting is a terret ring which is circular in plan and section. A bulbous collar is present projecting from one edge of the fitting with a worn base. The opposite side of the terret ring is broken with part of the frame having been lost to extremely worn breaks. Terret rings were used as rein guides on chariots or carts and were attached to vehicle yokes probably by leather straps. The break in the frame most probably represents the point at which the reigns rubbed on the object, wearing it down.
