Medieval buckle (mid 13th to 14th centuries): The copper alloy buckle frame is trapezoidal in plan with the narrowest edge, which is off-set and circular in section forming the strap bar. The other three edges are sub-square in section with a knop protruding the exterior edge at each corner and in the centre of the each side, with the exception of the strap bar. The edge of the frame, opposite the strap bar has a wide notch on the upper surface. The buckle frame has a mid green/brown patina. It measures 20.03mm long, 26mm wide and 4.12mm thick. A fragment of a Medieval ceramic coarse ware bung hole pitcher, jug or cistern (c. 1350-c. 1450). This fragment, apparently from a coarse ware vessel, consists of a body sherd with a bung hole. Outer surface: Munsell Color 7.5YR 7/6 Beneath the surface: Munsell Color 2.5YR 5/6 Core: Munsell Color 2.5YR 6/0 When found the breaks were all abraded. However, since discovery the find has been broken by the finder, hence the fresh break. Length: 93.1mm; width: 61.7mm; thickness: 20.2mm. Weight: 92.31g.

Medieval strap fitting loop (mid 12th to late 14th centuries): The copper alloy loop is trapezoidal in plan with the narrowest edge forming the lower edge. The upper edge, along the upper face is decorated with bulbous swelling with a transverse ridge either side. On the interior edge of the frame, on the lower portion of the side edges there is a elongated triangular spur which fixes the strap in place. Iron Age to Roman (-100 to 200) cosmetic mortar: The copper alloy cosmetic mortar which remains is an end-loop. The end-loop in profile is a sub-drop shape with a serif on the underside and at the terminal. The mortar is broken just after the loop, as it starts with the crescentic bow. The break is not recent. The upper face of this portion of the mortar has wide curved hollow. The surface of the mortar has an incomplete light grey/green patina. A cast copper-alloy belt mount or stud of Post-Medieval date. It is pointed oval in form with undecorated domed front face and concave back face. At the centre of the back face is an integrally cast single lug or rivet that is square in section and tapers to a curving point. The entire object measures 25.14mm in length, 11.56mm in width, 4.32mm in thickness (13.38mm including rivet/lug) and 3.76g in weight. This is a belt or strap mount of Post-Medieval date, c.16th-17th centuries AD.

Post Medieval copper alloy ladder buckle. The outer face is decorated with what appears to be a debased Greek key pattern. There are two inner bars with an offset bar between them that is now broken with only a stub remaining. Probably dating to between c1714 and c1901 AD. The length is 38mm, the width is 30mm thickness and the weight 4.86.
