Copper alloy Sleeve Clasp. Cast plate from a pair of sleeve clasps, Hines Form B12. A rectangular plate bears a sunken central panel with horizontal ribs on its outer edge, and four triangular lugs on its inner edge (one lost); one lug has a drilled stitching hole of diameter 2.4mm. The sleeve clasp was associated with the closing of the long sleeves of garments forming part of a 6th-century Anglian 'national costume' which comprised a combination of styles with strong links to a notional Scandinavian homeland. An annular lead sea fishing weight of a type know as a Watch weight. On both sides is a series of eight pellets, possibly separately applied. Pressed metal Thimble with a foot ring which bears regularly spaced nicks, and a plain zone above it in which a legend, now indistinct but probably in Roman capitals, occupies the lower half. The upper wall bears eight rows of machine stamped pits, with five concentric rings of larger pits on the top. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1850-1900. A rim sherd from a Roman (AD c.150-250) drop flanged Black Burnished ware bowl. The fabric is hard, coarse and dark grey/black in colour. There are frequent round white/grey sand inclusions. The vessel was possibly handmade. Overall, the sherd measures 33.70mm in height and 60.75mm wide. The drop flanged rim is 17.45mm thick and the wall thickness is 9.00mm. It weighs 28.44g.

Fragment of a Medieval cast copper alloy fitting, probably from harness or possibly from a casket. The piece is a thick bar which is D-shaped in section with a flat back and old breaks at both ends.
