A complete copper alloy thimble of medieval date. The thimble has a circular base (now bent out of shape due to deposition) from which the sides taper inwards and curve towards the top where they form the crown, creating a dome. The thimble is decorated with irregular pits in spiralling rings from the centre of the crown towards the base where they terminate. A hole is present at the apex of the thimble. The metal has a mid brownish-green patina and is worn. The thimble is 12.3mm in height, 22.8mm x 8.3mm wide, 0.8mm thick and weighs 2.8g.

A complete copper alloy buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is a sub-rectangular knee buckle with a drilled frame to house a separate spindle. An openwork anchor chape with two spiked tongues is present around the spindle. The word 'SWORD' is stamped on to one long end of the frame with the word 'MAKE' on the opposing side. An incised depiction of two crossed swords is present on the spindle bar. The metal has a mid brownish-red patina and is worn. The buckle is 22.4mm long, 19.3mm wide, 3.8mm thick and weighs 4.3g. A similar example is illustrated in Whitehead p.111, no.71…

An incomplete cast copper-alloy 'Moustache-shaped' object of probable Middle Bronze Age date, 1600 BC - 1000 BC. It is missing the ends of both lower tips due to old, patinated breaks. The object is cast in the round with a swollen oval body that tapers downwards at both sides to the now incomplete pointed terminals giving it an inverted U-shaped form. A rim sherd from a Roman (AD c.150-250) drop flanged Black Burnished ware bowl. The fabric is hard, coarse and dark grey in colour, with a burnished black surface. There are frequent quartz inclusions. The vessel was possibly handmade. Overall, the sherd measures 14.95mm in height and 61.80mm wide. The drop flanged rim is 21.20mm thick and the wall thickness is c.6.80mm. It weighs 17.75g.

Incomplete and heavily worn cast copper-alloy Roman Dolphin brooch. Only the incomplete wings and a short section of the bow survive. The wings are cylindrical in section with a lengthways hollow for taking the iron axis bar which is still in situ. A slot for taking the hinged pin is loated at the midpoint of the wings and the top of the copper-alloy hinged pin is still present. The head of the bow is swollen where it meets the wings. Below this the bow tapers towards the missing foot, it is oval in section. This brooch has been dated in line with hinged dolphin brooches AD c.55-100.
