An incomplete medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377). Third (Florin) coinage, Type 2 (North 1114) dating to 1344-1351. Mint of London. North (1991, 47).
The coin measures 18.91mm in diameter and weighs 1.136g. It has been slightly bent and has received two small nicked removals from its circumference. In the same area as the losses there is also a crack following the inner circle.

A Post medieval gold coin; a guinea of Charles II (1660 - 1685), fourth bust (1672 - 1684) dated 1680 (probably). See Spink number 3344. There appears to be a dash (-) instead of a pellet after II in the obverse legend. The centre of the reverse and the area of the date is badly worn.
