An incomplete medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377). Third (Florin) coinage, Type 2 (North 1114) dating to 1344-1351. Mint of London. North (1991, 47). The coin measures 18.91mm in diameter and weighs 1.136g. It has been slightly bent and has received two small nicked removals from its circumference. In the same area as the losses there is also a crack following the inner circle.
