Incomplete cast lead alloy candle holder, with part of the socket and rim missing. The candle holder is circular in plan and S-shaped in profile, with an everted rim, a conical socket within an expanded waist that then tapers towards the pedestal base. The rim is flat with a scalloped edge that terminates in points every 12 mm. Below the rim are draped mouldings above a border of pellets. The exterior of the candle holder has been decorated with a foliate design of trefoil scrolls emanating from wide acanthus leaves within raised square borders. A crude lead-alloy weight of probable medieval to early post-medieval date. The sub-discoidal weight appears to havebeen mis-cast and has no aperture. there are four indentations to the top and it is possible that this is where a attachment loop was possibly intended. Alternatively it may be a unofficial standing weight.The weight has a heavy glossy off-white patina with patches of grey where recent scraping has occurred. Diameter c.28.68 mm. Height 19.65 mm. Weight 103 grams.

A perforated lead-alloy object which is probably a weight. The object is sub-cuboidal, has a circular perforation, presumably at the top, and tapers towards the bottom, both in width and thickness. The object appears to have been manufactured from sheet lead alloy and has a greyish matt-white patina.The object appears to be plain on both sides. Length 32.35 mm. Width top 11.85 mm. Base 8.41 mm. Thickness Top 4.10 mm. Base 2.67 mm. Aperture 4.55 mm. Weight 9.362 grams.
