An early Mesolithic flint microlith of obliquely blunted type (9000 BC-8001 BC). This off-white microlith is sub-triangular in plan and cross-section. About 70% of one edge on the dorsal face has abrupt retouch. The ventral face is flat and largely featureless. Height: 31.77mm; width: 9.27mm; thickness: 2.33mm. Weight: 0.63g.

A British Iron Age uninscribed gold stater, "British A" or "Westerham" type, Eastern, dating to c. 100/80-60 BC. One face of the coin depicts an abstract head right; the other face depicts an abstract horse left, with numerous pellets above and one below. Cf. ABC (Cottam et al 2010) 2430, p.123. The coin is attributed to the Trinovantes on the PAS database and Catuvellauni in ABC (Ibid).

An incomplete copper-alloy post-medieval pin dating to the period c. AD 1500 - 1800. The pin features a globular head consisting of two domed circualr plates. The join is visible as a transverse ridge running around the centre of the head. The shaft of the pin extends from the bottom of the head and terminates in an old break. The head measures 11.54mm in diameter. The shaft measures 1.90mm in diameter, tapering to a diameter of 1.53mm and is 11.49mm long. In total the pin measures 23.85mm and weighs 2.70g.

A complete rectangular copper-alloy strap loop of Medieval date. The attachment end has a separate central circular copper-alloy rivet with a flattened round head. Attached to the rivet is a separate flat, circular copper-alloy rove. The attachment end and two parallel sides are flat. The outer edge is D-shaped in section. This strap loop measures 14.14mm in length, 14.70mm in width, 1.68mm in thickness, 1.30g in weight. There are similar examples from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, pp. 232, no. 1248-1250).

Copper alloy P-shaped brooch. The terminal of the head is rolled into a cylinder to hold the spring axis bar, the spring is wrapped around the axis bar and is made from eight curls, the pin is still attached and the external cord of the spring is mounted under the arch of the bow. The bow and leg are made from a plain strip that has a D-shape cross-section. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative, possibly a T-shaped brooch dating to the period c. AD 50 - 150. A very worn and bent post-medieval silver halfgroat of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603), Third issue, Initial mark hand, minted at London, AD 1589-1592, North 2016. A hole has been pierced towards the circumference probably through the reverse, possibly for conversion into a jewellery item. The hole is at about 11 o'clock on the obverse, corresponding to about 7 o'clock on the reverse.
