Copper alloy handle from an unidentified tool or implement with the remains of an iron tang within a split socket. At the proximal end a knopped terminal is decorated with six oblique notches. The main body is of rectangular cross-section but decorated on both broad faces with two rows of closely spaced ovoid, round-based notches. These cease at the start of the socket. That only a 12mm length of the tang is embedded in the socket and that there are no rivets suggest the implement was not used for any very robust purpose. Medieval silver finger ring, the rectangular-sectioned band expanding slightly from the rear to the shoulders before abruptly becoming D-sectioned forming a pair of triagular facets on either side before expanding smoothly to form a stirrup-shaped bezel with an oval setting. The centre of the base of the setting is deeply convex, perhaps imitating a stone or to act as keying for paste to secure a separate stone. A copper alloy medieval domed stud or mount, probably from harness or a furniture fitting. The convex front face is decorated with a plain border, within which, reserved on a field of decayed blue enamel, is a fantastic beast with two legs, long neck, large pointed ears and open mouth, the head bent back over it's body to face the long up-turned tail.
