A fragment of a decorated sheet of silver from an unidentified object, possibly a thimble or decorative item. The fragment has been flattened and damaged and it seems likely that the object was not flat originally. One side is completely undecorated, whereas the other is covered in an inscribed vegetal motif common to the Georgian (or slightly earlier) period. It is probable that this fragment dates from the late 17th to late 18th centuries AD.
