An incomplete copper-alloy object, probably a fragment from a terret of later Iron Age to Roman date. It comprises a fragment from an oval sectioned ring or loop that has a central projecting vertical collar or rib that is oval in form and slightly flattened on one (interior) edge. The loop terminates in old breaks either side of the collar and appears to have either been poorly cast or possibly hollow on at least one side.
