Roman copper alloy Umbonate disc brooch (c AD 100-250). The brooch is circular in form with a concave back. The central section is decorated with triangular enamel cells which contain red enamel. There are three knops around the edge of the brooch, with a hinge loop at the top. Part of the pin remains and the catch plate. The object has a dark green patina.

A cast copper alloy from the Roman period, dating to c.1st to 2nd centuries AD. The trumpet brooch has a typical oval head shape. The brooch is a hinged example. The hinge and pin are missing. The lug which held the pin remains at the back of the head. File marks are visible on the rear of the head. The head is decorated with a vertical central ridge which expands at the top into an inverted S shaped swirl. The ridge expands at its base and divides terminating in a curl at each side. An incomplete copper-alloy Danish brooch dating to the medieval period (c. AD 1120-1150). The brooch is circular with an openwork design depicting a lamb facing left, representing the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God). One of its its forelegs is crossed back to hold a cross behind. The circular border round the edge is beaded. On the rear there is the remains of an attachment loop and broken pin. Tinned. The object has a dark green patina. An incomplete copper alloy Trumpet brooch of Roman date (c AD75-200). The brooch is D-shaped in profile with a rounded head and a worn spring to accommodate the now heavily corroded pin mechanism. The pin no longer remains. The bow is decorated with a panel of enamel; with blue enamel circles around red 'eyes' and re and yellow enamel down the bow. The pin and catch plate are both missing. The brooch is very worn. It has a mid brown patina.

Medieval Lead pilgrim badge (c AD1300-1500). The object is sub-rectangular in plan with rounded ends. There is a damaged attachment loop on the back. The front is in the style of a comb with a decorative panel down the centre. The two-sided liturgical comb is the emblem of St Blaise, an early 4th-cent. Bishop and martyr in Asia Minor. The object is damaged and has a mid brown patina. A similar record is NMS-1FC390.

A copper-alloy and iron pole-mounted, skirted and knobbed terret dating to the early Roman period, (AD43-200). The object is oval in plan and cross-section with three projecting rounded knops. The internal diameter of the terminal measures 12mm. The terminal measures 30mm in width. On each face of the hoop of the terminal are four evenly spaced raised bosses which are very worn. At the base of the terminal is a decorative collar. Below this the object flares outwards forming a pointed skirt on each side. Below the skirt projects corroded iron which is incomplete . A silver-gilt dress-hook with a six-lobed pinked back plate. In each corner of the lobes is a knop. On top of the back plate is a sub hexagonal cushion and shaped with this are four domes, one positioned on each alternate lobe and one placed in the centre, two now damaged.
