A complete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy tobacco pipe tamper (c. 1800-c. 1900). This tamper is in the form of a naked female (Venus) standing in a classical pose. One hand is resting on the left hip and the other is raised above the head holding a vessel from which water pours. The face is glancing upwards to the left and the facial features are not well defined. An incomplete probable late Roman copper-alloy strip bracelet, c. AD 250-410. The remains of the bracelet consist of one plain flat-ended terminal and approximately half of the bracelet band. The outer surface of the terminal is decorated with two incised horizontal lines at the terminal, followed by a double-saltire, with further evenly-spaced transverse lines running approximately a third of the way up the remaining bracelet segment. A complete cast copper alloy Medieval casket key, c. 12th - 14th century AD. This key consists of a circular bow, a sub-oval sectioned collar and solid shank, a projecting pin and a simple bit. The key bow is worn on its interior edge where the key may have become abraded from suspension. The rest of the key shows no unusual signs of wear. It measures 33.5 mm long, 9.7 mm wide at bit, 9.23 mm diameter at loop, 2.7 mm thick at bit and weighs 2.4 grams. Cf. Read 2001, Fig. 45, No. 538. See also Egan 1998, p111.
