A late Saxon copper alloy strap end. It is tongue shaped and broken at both ends. The body is decorated with a worn lozenge motif of four sub-triangular recessed segments.

An Anglo-Saxon copper-alloy strap end, Thomas type A. It is tongue shaped and has a split attachment end with two rivet holes. The terminal, which was probably in the form of an animal head, is missing. The body is decorated with a panel with a narrowed, curved waist; the perimeter is decorated incised groves. The grooves are filled with a white coloured substance.

An incomplete, worn copper-alloy Medieval composite strap end. It is missing part of the spacer towards the attachment end, due to old breaks, now worn. The front and back plates are undecorated, flat and rectangular in shape and taper towards the terminal end. They are either side of a sheet spacer, occupying their whole width. At the terminal end there is an acorn shaped knop with a single collar. Canvas fibres from the strap still remain between the plates at the attachment end. An incomplete early medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 9th century. This is a Thomas Class A, Type 2 strap end with convex sides and a zoomorphic terminal. The strap end is broken before the split end. The front surface is decorated with six crescent-shaped stamps above the zoomorphic terminal - three pairs separated by a vertical groove. The animal head of the zoomorphic terminal is quite stylized with the snout, eyes and ears defined by cast grooves. Medieval copper alloy composite tongue-shaped strap end with a full-width spacer and two rivets. Above the knop there are two pairs of opposed lateral cut-outs, one half-circular, one rectangular. An additional bi-lobed cast piece is riveted to the front of the knop, cf. Margeson 1993, no. 234, Egan and Pritchard 1991, no. 703. Incomplete medieval copper alloy composite strap end, probably once with a forked spacer. What remains consists of an ovoid cast spacer with a knop, two outer sheet plates with open centres, and an extra probably cast piece on the rear of the knop. There is a rivet through the knop and another near the break which cuts through all three elements.
