A copper alloy Roman knee brooch dating from AD 150 - 250. The head is a semi-circular plate behind which are two lugs, pierced to hold a axle on which the missing sprung pin would have fitted. Half of the copper alloy axle survives. The bow is bulbous at the top and tapers towards the foot. The front is slightly faceted into three vertical panels. The surface is damaged and the upper layers are missing in a band across the centre of the brooch. The foot curves forwards and behind is the remains of a catchplate. Unusual Roman copper alloy furniture fitting: elaborate stud resermbling a chess pawn sitting on a discoidal base with twin radial grooves, containing the corroded remains of inserted rectangular-sectioned iron shank (8mm x 5mm). Length 42mm (excluding iron shank). Diam. 21mm. Related to the more usual 'bell-shaped' mounts, see Allason-Jones and Miket 1984, 239-45. 1st - 4th century.

A late Post Medieval copper alloy bracelet probably dating from the eighteenth century, which has been twisted into a spiral. The bracelet is made from a strip of copper alloy which is rectangular in section. It has been coiled into a spiral of five complete turns, now distorted. The four outer turns are decorated with a repeating motif of ovals separated by three lozenges forming a "triplon". This design is integral to the band of metal.The central turn is plain. An extremely worn and degraded silver plated copper-alloy copy of a Post Medieval silver hammered coin, possibly three-farthings of Elizabeth I. Possibly mint of London. A complete gold finger-ring of late Early-Medieval date. It is composed of two plain circular-sectioned rods twisted together with two finer beaded wires twisted in between, resulting in alternating plain and beaded bands. The rods taper in diameter to the ends which are hammered together to form a narrow, square-sectioned join.
This ring is of a late Viking type dating to the 11th century and possibly into the early 12th century in Scandinavia.

A cast lead object, probably a palm guard of Medieval or later date. It is semi-circular in plan, dome-shaped and with a slightly convex back face. The object is undecorated but has a circular indentation at the centre of the back face. It measures 87.24mm in length, 59.37mm in width, 7.01mm in thickness, and weighs 187.35g. This object probably served as a simple palm guard used for leather working and similar activities. It is likely to be of Medieval or later date.
