A complete Post Medieval to early Modern cast lead alloy circular uniface token. Powell Type 2. The token has been stampd with the lettesr 'WC' stamped into it; the reverse is blank. It measures 16.01 mm in diameter 2.17 mm thick and weighs 4.1 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to be Post Medieval (1550-1800 AD). Incomplete post-medieval tin-coated copper alloy possible sword belt fitting, a rectangular plate with flat front, hollowed reverse, at one end a pierced lobe with a rivet hole, and the other end broken across a projection on the rear of which is an integral rivet. The form is similar to that of Read 2001, no. 355 and Read 2008, no. 786, which terminates in a hook, cf. SUSS-F8BF75. On the reverse the letter T in relief is to be viewed with the hook upwards, cf. another incomplete example, from West Acre, Norfolk (HER 33682, NMS-4D3947).
