A complete Medieval to Post Medieval cast lead circular uniface token, c. 1250-1800 AD. Powell Type 14. The token has been cast with a raised design of a equal arm cross with a pellet in each quarter on the obverse and a flat, undecorated reverse. The token measures 17.55 mm in diameter, 2.48 mm thick and weighs 3.9 grams. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally; they are therefore hard to date precisely and could be Medieval or Post Medieval in date. An incomplete lead alloy unifaced token, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1600). The token is circular in shape. The obverse depicts a seated figure on horseback, riding left, with a creature beneath, within a border. This probably represents St George fighting the dragon. The reverse is plain apart from a vertical ridge. A small circular perforation is present at 12 o'clock on the obverse. It has an internal diameter of 2.4 mm. A cast lead alloy spindle whorl of probable Medieval to Post Medieval date, about 1200 - 1600. It is biconvex and both faces are decorated. One face has closely spaced, curving radial lines; the other has four equidistantly spaced symbols consisting of a star of five points, an openwork tudor rose of five petals and two crescents, one with a central, large pellet. There is a much fainter symbol between the rose and one of the crescents, a small triangle containing three small pellets.The whorl has a light cream patina. Itis 29mm in diameter and 13.7mm thick. It weighs 42.42gm.

A lead alloy Medieval to Post Medieval token or possibly a crude gaming piece. It probably dates from about 1200 - 1800. The token is oval and both faces are convex and there is a lump near the edge on the reverse meaning it cannot lie flat. It is also thicker than most tokens. One face is decorated with six ribs radiating from the centre forming a star and dividing the face into six segments. This design can be classifed as Powell Type 3. Compare SUSS-B5F877. A complete lead pot mend of medieval date. The pot mend is comprised of two large sub-circular discs joined by a thick central shank and was used to mend a broken vessel in order to lengthen the period of use after damage had occurred. The gap between the two plates contains a fragment of ceramic vessel wall with an orange coloured fabric suggesting a medieval date for the object. The pot mend is 22.9mm long, 15.3mm wide, 9.7mm thick and weighs 15.9g.
