A small sub-rectangular bladelet of later mesolithic date (4500 - 3500 BC). The bladelet has vertical removals on the dorsal face and chonchoidal ripples on the ventral. The long edges have not been retouched. The flint is very coarse being a mid brown grey colour with slightly crystalline (cherty) structure. It measures 16.6mm length, 13.3mm width, is 3.0mm thick and weighs 0.82 grams.

A large oval shaped flint end and side scraper formed on a large tertiary flake dating from the Neolithic or early Bronze Age periods (3500-2100 BC). The scraper is formed from an oval shaped flake of relatively poor quality flint. The ventral face shows conchoidal ripples and the bulb of percussion . The dorsal face has a number of irregular and regular flake scars. The entire edge has been reworked / retouched with steep angled overlapping regular flakes creating by direct and indirect percussion creating a cutting / scraping serrated edge. A silver two Albus piece struck in Cologne 1685 folded into three to form a 'love token'

Albus - Plural ALBUSES. Small Rhenish GROSCHEN first struck by Archbishop Kuno of Trier in 1362. Initially 96 ALBUS were minted from one Cologne MARK of fine silver and the coin was valued at 20 to the GOLDGULDEN (1386), but by the 16th century it had become a billion coin worth 1/32 THALER. In Cologne the depreciation was even worse. There, by the 17th century, the ALBUS was equal only to 1/74 THALER.
