Probably a late Medieval to Modern copper alloy mount or furniture fitting, but it may be a Victorian or Edwardian funerary fitting. The back plate comprises four opposed fleur de lis with a central perforation. Through this is passed the shank, for the knob, which has been secured with a square headed iron rivet at the rear. The shank is attached to sub conical knob decorated with three sets of concentric inset lines. Medieval copper alloy bar mount of barrel form. The convex exterior face is decorated with five parallel transverse impressed lines. There are also remnants of grooves at right angles to these. The inner face is concave and undecorated. The remains of two rivets, for attaching to a strap, are on the protuberances at either end. Dates to between c1300 and c1400 AD. The length is 23mm, the width is 11mm, the thickness 4mm, and the weight is 2.04g. Post Medieval cast copper alloy hooked tag. It has a circular plate, trapezoid loop and long hook oriented to the left. The central plate is domed with a concave back and convex front. The front has a raised design which could be frog or a bust, facing right with a hand raised, within a circular border. Dates to between c1500 and c1625 AD. For similar examples see SUSS-8E3983 (which classifies the hook as Read Class E Type 3), SUSS-C4DCD3, NMS-B97782, and NARC1732.

Post medieval copper alloy hooked tag. The attachment loop and hook are missing. The main plate is circular and is decorated with a moulded openwork design featuring an equal armed cross within a beaded border with perforations in the quarters. Dates to between c1500 and c1650 AD. For similar examples see YORYM-3CE514 (which classifies the hook as Read's Class E, Type 3) and NLM-9DA783 (a complete example).
