A cast copper-alloy clapper/ hand bell of a Post-Medieval date (1680-1715). It is complete with the exception of the iron clapper. The bell has an everted rim, concave sides and a flattened top measuring 32.2mm in diameter. The squarish suspension loop measures 15.4mm in width, with an aperture 7.4mm in diameter. The bell measures 68.5 mm in height, 72.4 width at widest point (rim) and weighs 122.1g. A complete cast lead vessel which has been squashed almost flat. It would have originally been semi-circular cross-section. The vessel flares out at its sides; some splits also appear here. At the base the vessel measures 39.9mm across, expanding to 66.4mm at the (squashed) top. It weighs 58.2g. The majority of the surface of the vessel is covered with off-white corrosion product; it is otherwise grey. An incomplete Post Medieval (1600-1700) copper alloy strap fitting, measuring 44.8x20.8mm and weighing 8.1g. The main body of the object is spherical and convex, the reverse being concave, and measuring 21.1mm in diameter. It has been damaged slightly on one side. At one end is a collared debased trefoil attachment knop retaining residue of an iron rivet, measuring 11.5x9.8 (at widest point) 8.0mm at narrowest. An undatable Roman to Post Medieval (c.AD 43- 1800) lead pot mend with a small amount of reddish brown earthenware vessel in situ. The mend is roughly circular in shape, measures 44.3x28.7mm on one side and 31.3x24.7mm on the other, and weighs 49.9g.

An incomplete Post-Medieval (1600-1700) copper-alloy sub-triangular convex belt mount, measuring 25.2x9.3x2.9mm and weighing 2.5g. It is missing part of one of its attachment spikes to the reverse. One end of the mount terminates with an elongated rounded point measuring 1.6mm. The upper surface is badly corroded and it is difficult to see if there would have been any decoration. The reverse features a pointed attachment spike and another stump thereof. Both are bent outwards. A mount of similar form can be found illustrated in Read (2001, 37; ref. 328).
