SALVS reverse type depicting Salus seated left, feeding a snake coiled around altar from a patera in right hand, left arm resting on side of chair. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 442, no. 672b. BMC IV (p. cliv) suggests that this issue with the obverse legend CRISPINA AVG IMP COMMODI AVG could have been struck early, in Marcus Aurelius' reign, c. AD 178-80.
