Post-medieval tin-coated copper alloy buckle frame with the remains of an iron plate and/or pin on the deeply recessed central bar. The form of the frame is abnormal. Apart from a large rounded projection from the straight edge it might be described as either shield-shaped with that edge downwards or resembling the upper part of a lancet window when viewed the other way around. A rim sherd from a Medieval ceramic jug. The beaded rim has a groove in its upper surface. The wall of the vessel is vertical and there is a projecting remnant of a rectangular-sectioned handle. A deep thumb mark is located above this handle and the two sides have also been pushed on with fingers. The fabric is light grey, the surface pinkish and micaceous. An incomplete cast copper-alloy buckle pin of Medieval date. It is rectangular in form, oval in section with a pitted dark green patina. At one end (frame end) there is an integral oval loop that is incomplete due to old breaks. Beneath the loop the front face of the pin has a raised transverse ridge or grip. The entire object measures 45.48mm in length, 4.24mm in width, 5.04mm in thickness (at grip; 8.66mm at loop), and weighs 4.01g. This is a Medieval buckle pin similar to examples from London (e.g. Egan and Pritchard, 1991: nos. 540-550) and dates to the 13th or 14th centuries AD.

An incomplete Medieval copper alloy buckle of Meols Type 11, (1250-1400). It is missing its pin; only a small indent remains on the axis bar where the pin was attached. It is 20.93mm in length, 16.27mm in width, 3.81 mm in thickness and weighs 2.22g. The inside dimensions of the buckle loop are 16.13mm in length and 10.48mm in width. A complete Medieval copper-alloy horse harness pendant dated 13th-14th century (c.1200-1400). The object is shield shaped with an integral loop attached to the straight edge which as been bent out of shape. The edges of pendant have been worn away so that it is no long a regular shied shape as intended. On the front surface there is a raised design of a lion rampant right with a background of red enamel. The pendant is 39.4mm long, 18.8mm wide, 2.3mm thick and weighs 4.50 grams.

A fragment of a cast copper-alloy dragonesque brooch, c. 75-200. Only one 'head' or terminal remains of the S-shaped plate brooch. The head is zoomorphic, with a petal-shape in plan with a large boss forming an eye and a curling scoll emerging from the pointed end to form a snout. The ring around the boss-eye may have originally held enamel, though no trace remains. The reverse is undecorated.

A copper alloy escutcheon dating to the medieval or early post medieval period. The object is sub-triangular in plan with a rounded point. There is thickened area which runs parallel to the long side of the triangle and this has the remains of a metal vessel inside. There is a rivet through the pointed end of the triangle and there is a hole near the long side which would have acted as a suspension loop. A similar example has been recorded on the PAS database, see SWYOR-352496.

An incomplete copper alloy purse bar dating to the 15th or 16th centuries. The object consists of a central sub-rectangular section with two projecting arms which are D-shaped in section. At the end of each arm is a hemispherical terminal. There is a small projection from the top of the central area which has evidence for a break is probably where the suspension loop would have been attached. A similar object is recorded on the PAS database, see WMID-E51925.

A copper alloy ring - possibly a finger ring - of uncertain date. In style the ring is undiagnostic, it is very small with one side of the hoop being wider than the other - possibly suggesting a front and back of the hoop. The ring is a mid brown colour with an abraded and corroded surface patina - this patina is similar in condition and colour to a 3rd century Roman coin found within the same. The form is not diagnostically Roman. The ring measures 14.7mm diameter, width max 2.6mm min 1.4mm, thickness uniform 0.9mm, internal diameter 3.3mm. The ring weighs 0.54 grams

The head is inverted drop shaped (petal or tear drop), its upper surface largely occupied by a protruding boss with circumferential groove.
