Middle or Late Anglo-Saxon copper alloy hooked tag. Undecorated shield-shaped plate with straight top and curved sides. Two rounded projecting lugs with circular perforations for attachment, one of which is broken. Double moulded collar at the springing of the short complete sharp hook. Length 24.5mm. Width 13mm. Read (2008) Class E type 1. 700-1100 AD.

Medieval sheet copper alloy faceted sexfoil mount trimmed polygonally, with two rivets each with a circular rove on the reverse. An irregular central hole appears to be damage. Measurig 17 x 15.6mm. Height 5.5mm. For examples with and without central holes from contexts dated 1270 - 1450 see Egan and Pritchard (2002, 189, fig.119, no.959 - 983 and 990 - 1001). 1270-1450.
