Medieval copper alloy buckle. Incomplete oval frame with off-set, narrowed bar, the outside edge expanded to form three lobes, each with a separate dome-headed rivet. One rivet is missing with the frame broken across the rivet hole. One side, pin and most of bar missing. Traces of gilding. Measuring (reconstructed) 27 x 28.5mm. For a similar, complete example, see Whitehead (2003, 24, no.110). 13th - 14th century.

A spherical hollow copper-alloy artefact of probable post-medieval date: either a bead or a pin head. The object is formed of two hemispheres of sheet copper alloy joined by white metal solder at their respective bases. The top of each is perforated at its centre with a hole of c. 2.4mm diameter. Around each hole radiates multiple small, fine incisions. An incomplete developed flat axe with hammer raised flanges of later Early Bronze Age date (c. 2000 CAL BC to c. 1700 CAL BC).
Around 25% of the axehead is present, with the blade and part of the body present. The butt and rest of the body is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The break is patinated, suggesting that it happened in antiquity.

Medieval copper alloy harness fitting consisting of a hook and an eye plate engaged with each other, both with a pair of integral round-sectioned rivets on the reverse of a triangular-sectioned bar. Similar to Read 2008, no. 807 (IOW-7184A4), but with straight ends and a square, rather than ovoid, terminal on the hook. Parts of the surfaces are obscured by stubbornly adherent soil. Hook plate length 40mm, width 9.5mm. Eye plate length 35.5mm, width 10.5mm. Overall length 69mm. 13th - 14th century.

A complete lead alloy unifaced token, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1600).
The token is sub triangular in shape. Both the obverse and reverse are plain and undecorated. It is possible that this token may be a cut quarter from a larger circular token.
The token measures 20.3 mm in length, 20.3 mm wide and 3.4 mm thick. It weighs 8.5 g.
The token is a mid grey colour, with an even surface patina.

A complete lead alloy unifaced token, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1600).
The token is circular in shape. The obverse depicted a central recessed star design with a central raised pellet (Powell type 14). The star has been made up of a saltire crosslet over an standard cross. The reverse is plain and undecorated.

A broken copper-alloy mount of post-medieval date, though it is uncertain to what it would have belonged. Formed of one piece the object has two zones, the smaller a thinner handle-like end, broken and slightly bent and twisted one way following old damage. From this smaller end (general W.: c. 8.6mm) the object begins to widen before a transverse groove on the upper surface which divides the handle end from the larger zone. The larger end continues to expand very gradually along its length, attaining a width of 17.4mm at an old ragged break.

An incomplete copper alloy knee brooch of Roman date. The brooch has hollow semi-circular wings which would have housed the pin mechanism thought this no longer survives. The pin no longer remains. From the centre of the wings the bow projects out at a near 90 degree angle, swelling slightly and bending back downward again. The join at the bow and wings is decorated with a raised semi-circular fan-shaped collar. The bow tapers in width from the swelling toward a circular foot knop from the reverse of which the remains of a worn catchplate projects.
