A cast lead alloy spindle whorl of Roman to later Medieval date (43 - 1500 AD). The object is circular in plan and biconical. The object has a large central circular perforation with an internal diameter of 7.57mm. Each face of the object is decorated with mouldings in the form of a 'six-petalled' flower with a raised pellet within each 'petal'. The object has a light white patina and is in good condition. A thimble made of a white metal alloy probably Aluminium or tin. The thimble has no magnetic attraction. The thimble was probably originally circular in cross-section, tapering towards the flattish domed top, but is now sub-square having been squashed and dented on the top and sides. At the open end the thimble measures 14.4mm x 13.5mm and then tapers to 8.6mm x 9.5mm at the top. The thimble has a height of 17.6mm. An incomplete silver early Post-Medieval (AD 1500-1600) sharp hooked clasp (Read Class D Type 3), missing a fleur-de-lis knop from the back plate, and suffering a break to its rear loop. Overall, it measures 32.75mm long, 21.40mm wide and 17.75mm thick. It weighs 9.81g. It comprises multiple pieces: The back plate is lozengiform with round knops at each corner extending forward. Part of the bowl of a post-medieval clay tobacco pipe broken at its junction with the stem. The bowl is swollen, convex curved between the mouth and heel and projects out over the heel, c.60% of the bowl is missing down one side. The mouth is parallel to the stem. The surviving part of the bowl has a rouletted row of indented rectangles just below the plain, upright mouth. A complete copper alloy sword or dagger pommel, of Late Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1450 to AD 1700). It is circular in shape with an oval shaped section. At the centre is a neat square perforation (7.0 mm by 7.0mm) designed to accomodate the now missing tang of the blade. 18 evenly spaced rounded projections with moulded grooves between them radiate outwards from the central square perforation. A complete Medieval cast copper alloy harness pendant. The pendant is an elaborate quatrefoil in shape with a circular integral suspension loop off set at ninety degrees. The front is decorated with five roses or cinquefoils within an indented elaborate cross which is inlaid with red (gules) enamel - gules a cross engraved with five roses or cinquefoils. This is similar to the arms of Edington or Edmondes. The pendant is 46.63 mm high, 39.01 mm in width and weighs 16.04 grams. It dates to the 13th or 14th century.

A complete lead seal matrix of medieval date. The seal is a pointed oval or vessica shape with a semi-circular lug to the top end on the reverse. The die of the matrix depicts a central pellet with eights radiating petals or leaves within a circumferential border.
