The toy consists of a circular base with an abraded foot ring, and an incomplete bulbous container element. The exterior of which is undecorated. The rim is missing. Medieval (13th to 14th centuries) shield shaped harness mount: The copper alloy harness fitting is shield-shaped in plan and has a form of decoration on the outer face, possibly a lion rampant facing left, but the surface is so heavily abraded so this is not certain. Possible Roman (1st to 4th centuries) copper alloy pin: The pin head is globular and tapers towards the integral pin shaft. The shaft protrudes from the base of the pin head and only a fragment remains. The break of the shaft is not recent. The pin has traces of a well developed mid green patina, otherwise it is heavily abraded and has red copper corrosion patches. The pin measures 19.44mm long, 7.53mm diameter. It weighs 1g. The pin possibly dates to the Roman period.

Roman to Medieval (1st to 15th centuries) stud: The head of the copper alloy stud is sub-circular in plan with abraded edges, and is flat in profile and is undecorated. The base of the stud has an integral circular sectioned stud protruding which tapers to a very blunt point. The surface of the stud has traces of a well developed mid brown/green patina. The stud is 12.7mm long, and the head is 12.08mm wide. It weighs 2.4g. The date of the stud is uncertain, but probably dates to the Roman to Medieval periods. The function of the stud or what is was attached to is also uncertain.

A tertiary worked flint probably dating from the late Neolithic to early Bronze Age, circa 2700-1600BC. Identified by Peter Reavil as a possible core fragment. Some surfaces of the core are heavily patinated with areas of oblique light grey flint. Other sides of the core are shiny, translucent and mid grey in colour. Evidence of blade removals are present on both sides of the core with conchoidal ripples clearly visible. Dimensions: Length: 36.33mm. Width: 33.94mm. Thickness: 17.00mm. Weight: 16.8g.
