An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age (AD c.25-100) La Tène III Nauheim derivative brooch, missing the foot, the catchplate, the pin and some of the spring. It has been bent out of shape. Overall it measures 39.00mm in length, 11.85mm in width and 9.30mm in thickness. It weighs 4.26g. The brooch has a three or four turn spring (only two turns survive) and a curving bow, which is rectangular in section.
