Cast copper alloy small double-loop spectacle buckle frame, missing its pin. The pin bar is narrowed and flush with the frame and is 14 mm in length, 2.5 mm in width and 3 mm in thickness. The frame has a flat base and a convex profile in cross-section with an internally bevelled edge and a sloping outer edge. The frame is 28.3 mm in length, 22 mm in width and 3 mm in thickness. The original surface still remains as darker green patches alternating with the lighter green corroded areas.

The token is 19.56 mm in diameter, 2.71 mm thick and weighs 4.7 grams. The left half of the dimidiated shield appears to relate to the family of Allfrey (Per fesse sable and ermine, a pale counterchanged between three ostrichs' heads erased argent ducally gorged and lined or). Above a ducally gorged ostrich head between a pair of feathers. The right side appears to be Chamberlayne but this is not certain. There are traces of the attchment rivets on the hollow reverse.

A complete 17th century cast copper alloy spur with a seven-point rowel. The keeled sides of the spur end in figure of eight terminals. The rowel has an iron axle and sits on a fattened down-turned neck which has an octagonal section. The neck is decorated with lines of punched crescents. There is similar decoration on both sides of the spur as well as fields of tiny punches.

Cast copper alloy spur rowel in the form of a five-armed star with five points that are lozenge-shaped in section. Each arm has about eighteen parallel transverse grooves from the central perforation to the point. In between each arm is another shorter point, that measures about 10 mm, and two of the five have been bent back through use.
Read (2001) illustrates a similar spur rowel with long arms and transverse grooves on page 66, Fig.42, No.505, and another spur rowel with mouldings on either side of the arms in No.516, which are dated from the 17th century.

The remains of the key consist of the elaborate bow, which has an openwork trefoil-shape, with a knop at the top of the centre foil; followed by a rectangular-sectioned base; with a further smaller rectangular-sectioned segment which would have ended in the shank and bit, now missing.
