Cast copper alloy small double-loop spectacle buckle frame, missing its pin. The pin bar is narrowed and flush with the frame and is 14 mm in length, 2.5 mm in width and 3 mm in thickness. The frame has a flat base and a convex profile in cross-section with an internally bevelled edge and a sloping outer edge. The frame is 28.3 mm in length, 22 mm in width and 3 mm in thickness. The original surface still remains as darker green patches alternating with the lighter green corroded areas.

A worn medieval enamelled cast copper alloy shield-shaped stirrup stud. The upper part of the shield bears a lion against a field of red enamel. No enamel survives on the lower part which has a pair of upward-pointing chevrons divided by a horizontal line. On the back an integral rod projects backwards.

Probably medieval copper alloy mount, three conjoined convex circular lobes with a hollow reverse, the outer two with attachment holes. Length 31mm. Width 12.3mm. Thickness 4mm. The holes, diameter 3.5mm, are larger than rivet holes occuring in normal bar mounts from straps. No parallel noted. 12th - 14th century.

A cast copper alloy object, possibly a handle for a vessel lid, consisting of an oval knob with a collar and constricted neck, which emerges from a trefoil base. There is an iron rod down the centre. Dating is difficult but the patina suggests a medieval date.

A cast copper alloy buckle with an integral plate which is decorated with six sets of ring and dot stamps. The buckle frame is missing but the pin is intact and sits on a constriction between the frame and the plate. There is one rivet hole through the plate.
The date of such buckles is unclear but may lie in the period AD1000-1200.

Copper alloy medieval or post-medieval everted rim fragment from a large cooking vessel, probably a cauldron. A circular hole filled with the remains of a copper alloy coiled sheet rivet. There is a second partial hole across which the body of the vessel has broken, this may also be a repair or possibly form part of the attachment for the (missing) handle. Sooted externally. Circa 1300-1700 AD.

A copper-alloy scabbard chape, probably dating from the Medieval period.
The chape has been cast in one piece, is 'U-shaped' and has a central slot. A number of horizontal grooves decorate the top end of both arms, and the horizontal top side of one arm has also has been 'toothed'. On either side of the chape a circular-sectioned rivet extends across the central gap, linking the front and back sides. File marks are visible on the surfaces of the chape. There is a small amount of damage to the back of the piece.

A Medieval silver long cross penny of Edward I. Probably Class 9b, issued in AD 1300. Mint of London. The obverse bust has pellet eyes and may have a pellet on his breast. The Ns in the legends are of 'pot-hook' form. This coin is slightly double-struck, which makes certain details unclear. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 30, no. 1037/1.
