A complete post-Medieval copper-alloy mount (c. 1500-c. 1700). This mount is sub-triangular in plan. It is moulded at the front and flat at the rear. At the centre there is a vertical elongated hole. At each upper corner a motif in the form of human head faces forwards. They appear to be male and bare headed. The lower corner is in the form of a rounded knop. A copper alloy mount dating to the medieval period, c. AD 1400 to 1600. The object is a sexfoil shape in plan with a raised boss in the centre. On the reverse there are two circular-sectioned projections which would have held the mount in place.

Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy mount in very abraded condition with the remains of two iron rivets, probably circular but with all of the edge missing. There is a central hollow-backed boss and parts of two probably round apertures. Most details of the decoration, which includes radial grooves and other probably encircling grooves, are obscured. A complete Roman copper-alloy mount or stud (c. AD 43-c. AD 200). This mount is convex at the front and excepting the rivet, is concave at the rear. It is rectangular in plan and has two parallel transverse ridges at the front. Each end is flat. At the rear a central integral rivet has a shank which is circular in cross-section. The end of the rivet is burred over. The mount is green with traces of a darker green patina. It is slightly worn at the front. Length: 15.26mm; width: 9.20mm; thickness: 2.96mm; overall thickness: 8.40mm. Weight: 2.02g.
