Two pieces of pottery from different vessels as they have different fabrics. They are both small highly fired sherds, mid Medieval to Post Medieval in date.
1. (Top in photograph) A wall fragment from a vessel. Highly tempered with small well sorted black and red stone. There is one large red stone inclusion in the section. Grainy in texture. Fabric is light brown in colour. The sherd is fully oxidised. Length: 26.42mm. Width: 18.44mm. Thickness: 5.99mm. Weight: 3.26g.
