A complete lead weight of uncertain date. The weight is conical with a wide circular base which tapers to a narrower off centre apex. A circular perforation is present running through the object from the apex to the base. No decoration is present. The metal is a mid greyish-white colour and is worn. The weight is 10.7mm tall, 21.6mm in diameter and weighs 20.1g. Plain weights were cast locally in lead from the Roman period onwards for a wide variety of uses and are hard to date precisely. A fragment from a cast copper alloy Early Medieval brooch, circa AD 400-600. The fragment is from an Early Anglo Saxon saucer brooch. The brooch has an irregular shape in plan with all edges being broken and abraded. A copper alloy Medieval heraldic harness pendant, dating from about AD 1200-1450. The quatrefoil-shaped pendant has an integral suspension loop at the top, which is turned 90° to the pendant. In the centre of the pendant is a square with a lion passant facing left on a blue enamel field and from each side of the square protrudes a fleur-de-lis on a red enamel field. A silver Roman Republican Coin; a denarius probably of M Furius L f Philus dating from 119 BC (Reece Period 1). The obverse shows the laureate head of Janus. The inscription is probably "M. FOVRI. L. F". The reverse shows Roma standing left, holding spear and wreath; to left, trophy of Gallic arms and a carnyx; star above. The inscription to the right is "ROMA" with "PHIL" in the exergue. A complete element from a pair of 17th century openwork cast copper alloy toggle clasps. The clasps would have been secured by a means of a twist and pull action.
