A cast copper alloy finger ring probably dating to the Medieval period, (AD1200-1500). The object has a circular hoop which is D-shaped in cross section. The ring is decorated along the outside face of the hoop with a raised ridge in the centre (width: 3.13mm). The ridge is bordered by two parallel recessed edges (width: 0.5mm) each of which are decorated with a series of small incised lines.
