Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy harness pendant, part of the suspension loop and the lower parts missing. The original form is unknown, but what remains is broadly of the same shape as Ashley 2002, fig. 5 no. 5, a pendant that is now considered by the author to belong to the Roman period. This piece, however, is thickly gilded on the front face, has no openwork, and is decorated with closely spaced engraved lines. Extant height and width 30.5 and 25mm. 12th century.

A complete copper-alloy stud with a slightly convex lozengiform head dating to the late medieval or early post-medieval periods. The head is decorated on the upper surface with a saltire cross and a central pellet within a square of pellets. The square sits diagonally within a beaded border. On the reverse is a central shaft of square cross-section bent to one side and towards the reverse surface. A fragment from a lead-alloy toy 'horn book' of post-medieval date, representing around 25% of the original object. It is from the bottom right hand corner of a rectangular plaque, and reads OP in a line, above TV in a line, above YZ in a line, with decoration below, all in low relief. The omission of the letter U is not unusual (Lewis 2012, 99). Lower part of leg and foot of a medieval to post-medieval copper alloy cooking vessel. The cross-section is oval ((26.5 x 22mm) at the break. The true form of the foot is unknown. Its extremities were lost before the breaks, along with the rest of the surfaces overall, were covered in thick sooting. The foot was more than 32.5mm in width and 27mm thick. Extant length 47mm. Weight 131g. 14th - 17th century.

Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy rowel spur, most of both D-sectioned sides missing. The short neck, consisting of a bead between a pair of reel mouldings, springs from a low lozengiform base. The very slightly drooping rowel box retains the remains of an iron pin or spindle.The diminutive size shows this object was for a child. Extant length and width 42 and 54mm. A corroded and incomplete copper-alloy harness pendant of medieval date. The form of the artefact is that of an 'elaborate quatrefoil' (Ward Perkins' (1940, 118) Type V), that is, with lozengiform protrusions between the semicircles. Central on one of the semicircles would have been a suspension loop, but this upper semicircle has been bent back slightly and the once integral loop lost. Incomplete post-medieval sheet copper alloy hooked book fitting, most of the expanded terminal missing. Over the remainder the sides are parallel. Of three rivet holes, one filled with iron lies in the centre of a punched double ring-and-dot, another in the centre of an identical punched motif is empty and a third, iron filled, cuts through one of a group of three punched fleurs-de-lis. Between the latter and the hook there are three transverse lines of rocker-arm engraving. Extant length 48.5mm. Width (away from terminal) 14.5mm. 16th century.
