Iron Age coin; copper-alloy possible bronze fractional unit of uncertain type based on the weight & size but details too worn to decipher precisely, probably of North Eastern type (Corieltavi). Obverse probably shows a horse with three pellets or a ring of pellets above with the reverse motif being illegible. In line with this probable identification minted c.50-20 BC.

A late early-medieval cast copper-alloy harness link (11th century AD). The object consists of a central bar, semicircular in cross-section, with a flat lower surface. Central on this is a moulded boss extending either side of the plate, sub lozengiform and faceted slightly. The plate terminates in loops with a central prominent knopped protrusion. A knife worked on a small flake of cloudy creamish brown flint with a pink tinge. This colour and the lustrous appearance suggest that the core was a heat treated pebble to improve blade length and working consistency. The production of flesh and blood hued tools may have been a factor too. The flake has parallel dorsal removals indicating the repetitve working of a single platform. A copper alloy anonymous rose and orb type Nuremberg jetton of the late 16th to early 17th century. In place of a legend the jetton has a series of inward pointing wedges contained within an outer and inner circle. A copper-alloy late Iron Age-Roman bow brooch of nauheim derivative type with a flat bow. It is incomplete as the spring is incomplete, pin missing and catchplate incomplete and worn. The bow head narrows with curved sides into the circular section spring, three coils of the spring survive. The bow is flat and although worn has traces of a longitudinal line down the centre, it tapers towards the foot from 4mm to 0.97mm in width. It measures 35.76mm in total length.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Roman plate or disc brooch, probably of continental origin and dating from the second century AD. An incomplete Late Medieval/ Early Post-Medieval (1400-1600) copper-alloy double-loop asymmetrical buckle missing its pin. It measures 29.03mmx24.85mmx4.29mm and weighs 4.1g. The buckle is formed of two asymmetrical loops, with one rectangular and the other 'D' shaped. The frame is concave in section, with steep internal bevelling and gradual bevelling at the exterior edge; the pin bar is rectangular in section with 'V' shaped markings at the ends. A post-Medieval, sheet copper-alloy, composite three-piece button dating to the 17th century. The button consists of a pair of hollow, die-stamped hemispheres soldered together. The upper part is very convex and dome-shaped whilst the lower part is only slightly convex with a small, circular perforation, or blow-hole, to either side of the separately-attached loop. The loop is made from copper-alloy wire and teardrop shaped. There is gilding over most of the lower hemisphere and loop, but not on the upper hemisphere.
