An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy hooked tag (1500-1600). This tag is moulded at the front and flat at the rear. It is formed of three integral elements, a plate, an attachment loop and a hook. The attachment loop is rectangular and the plate is circular. At the centre of the plate is an equal armed cross with four holes in each angle forming openwork, all within an engrailed border. The curved part of hook is missing due to a break. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy circular seal matrix (1250-1400). The majority of the suspension loop and the edges of the die are missing due to breaks. The handle is hexagonal in cross-section and tapers to the suspension loop. Viewing an impression, the die has a hare sejant facing left with a circle forming an inner border. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy flat lugged disc brooch (AD 100-200). The pin is missing and a fracture extends across the plate. This brooch is circular with four evenly spaced lugs that form cells. The front has three circular concentric ridges that form three cells. These cells are empty. A corroded and damaged copper-alloy barrel tap spout. The fragment of the tap spout which remains is the tube which is inserted into the barrel. This is originally cylindrical in section so is convex on the exterior and concave on the interior. The edges of the barrel are all broken, but not recently. The exterior of the spout has horizontal striations. The surface of the barrel tap spout has a mid green patina. It measures 31.15mm long, 2717.51mm wide, 1.68mm thick and weighs 5.6g. A possible uniface lead token: The token is a sub-circular in plan. The token carries a design of a petalled flower. The reverse is undecorated. The surface is an oxidised cream. The token measures 18.75mm diameter max, and weighs 4.2g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as use as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.
