A worn and corroded dove type iron horseshoe of the Medieval period.The left and right branches both have three rectangular nail holes which are recessed to accept the now-missing T-shaped nail heads.The heels are tapered and slightly inclined, with no clear evidence of calkins. The inner and outer frog are round. Ivan G. Sparkes dates these shoes to circa late 13th / early 14th century. It is probably a saddle shoe.

A corroded and worn iron keyhole horseshoe of early-post-Medieval date.The right branch has three sub-rectangular nail holes. The left branch has two visible sub-rectangular nail holes, the third of which was probably at the heavily worn toe section. No nails have survived. The heels are inclined and are cut to a angle. There is no evidence of a calkins or fullering. This is probably a saddle shoe.

A rim sherd from a ceramic open-form vessel of large diameter, probably dating from the Medieval period. The vessel has an upright, beaded rim, and a vertical upper wall which flares outwards at the bottom. The fabric is hard-fired, with a light grey core and a reddish-brown surface, the latter displaying abundant fine shell or flint temper with occasional large stone inclusions. Incomplete and distorted Late Iron Age bow brooch of possibly Colchester type, spring, pin, almost all of the wings and part of the catchplate missing. The stumps of what were perhaps the forward facing hook and the spring are wide and flat rather than circular in section. The D-sectioned bow is decorated with a median rib at the top, which runs down to a blind hole that probably contained a setting. A second blind hole is placed just below the first. The foot is very narrow and almost spiked. The catchplate is perforated by two large apertures and one small round hole. Present length…

A fragment of a Medieval ceramic handle, identified by the finder as possibly being from a 12th century Stamford Ware jug. The handle has been broken at either end, revealing a light grey core with pinkish surface. A wide trough extends vertically down the centre of the upper surface, with a series of parallel, angled grooves scratched over the top. Traces of a yellowish-green glaze survive. Length: 63.1mm; width: 32.6mm; thickness: 15.4mm; weight: 42g.

A modern stone dice dating mid 19th century - early 20th century. This dice has a faceted cuboid shape, it is carved so the edges appear chamfered. The faces are aligned so the 1 and 6 are opposed, the 2 and the five and the 3 and 4 are all opposed. There is an engraved, linear, circular border around the faces bearing the the 1 and 2. Within this border there is a concentric ring of dots. There are traces of dot decoration on other faces but the alignment there is more random and does not seem to fit a circular pattern.
