A Post Medieval cast lead or lead alloy cloth seal. It is composed of two discs over laying each other and connected by an integral ribbon. One disc has a stud, the other a hole through which the stud is positioned, and then flattened. One face has a fine beaded border within which there are three stars. The reverse disc has a fine beaded border within which there is a single arched coronet/crown. The surface of the seal is slightly oxidised forming a mottled cream and dark grey colour. A cast copper alloy cooking vessel leg/foot. The leg is an elongated sub semi-circle in plan, with the straight edge forming the upper broken edge. This edge is broken but it is not recent as the patina covers the break. The leg and foot is undecorated. The surface of the leg has a mottled mid green coloured patina and there is carbon deposits on the foot. The leg measures 22.63mm wide, 15.35mm tall, and 13.82mm thick. It weighs 15.1g. A copper alloy Medieval strap end: The strap end is made up of two copper alloy sheets divided by a copper alloy spacer. The strap end is a sub-rectangle in plan with one terminal shaped '>' on both outer plates. The opposite terminal, on both plates, has a central circular perforation as a rivet hole either side. A double looped oval shaped buckle made from copper alloy. In plan, the buckle is a pointed oval. In profile the buckle does not quite lie flat, but has an exceptionally wide 'V' shaped profile. One loop is decorated with a small knop or miscast at the apex of the loop, and the other loop has a pin notch. The reverse is undecorated. The strap bar is narrowed, and is oval in section. An Early Medieval disc brooch: It is made from copper alloy with the remains of an iron pin. The brooch is circular in plan with the outer face being decorated with a series of low-relief ring and dot designs. Two of the dots have been punched through forming two small holes. The reverse of the brooch has two lugs forming an intermittent line. One lug is larger forming the catchplate. The other is smaller, and is incomplete and has a broken perforation, this would have formed the hinge. Between the two lugs there is iron corrosion from the pin, but the actually pin is missing. A copper alloy awl or gouge. The awl has a rectangular cross section. It tapers towards both ends from the centre. One side tapers on all four faces and terminates in a sub circular sectioned point. The other side tapers on two opposite sides to produce a wedge shaped terminal. There is a short, wide groove on the upper and lower faces of the terminal, suggesting this may be a small gouge. A fragment of a copper alloy T-shaped brooch. The wings are short an cylindrical, housing the axis bar for the hinged pin. The ends of the wings are decorated with two vertical incised lines. The upper part of the bow is wide and tapers slightly before the bow is stepped in. the bow is broken off shortly after this point. The bow is decorated with a two longitudinal incised lines.The pin is still attached and has been bent out at a right angle to the bow.
