A heavily worn complete cast copper-alloy bar mount of the Medieval period, c.1350-1450. Description: The mount has a central circular hollow backed body with two terminal lobes. The central body is undecorated. Each of the two terminal lobes has the remains of a rivet set within a central hole. It has a dark grey green patina. Discussion: Relatively common find on the PAS database and similar in design to those illustrated by Brian Read (2001, 23, nos.151) and Egan & Pritchard (1991, 214, fig.134, nos. 1160 ,1161) which are dated 1350-1450.

A cast copper alloy pin with an incomplete shaft, missing the point, and a hollow head. The head is polyhedral in form (a cuboid with the corners cut off), square in profile and in section and has thirteen faces. The faces are undecorated, and there is no transverse collar at the join of head and shaft, as there is in the examples from Suffolk below. Beneath the head the shaft is circular in section and 3.9 mm in diameter. The object measures 73.6 mm in overal length, 10.8 mm in width across the head, and weighs 11.2 g. A Late Iron Age/ Roman (100 BC - AD 410) copper alloy pin, consisting of the oval head only. It measures 11.38mm in height and 9.70mm in max.diameter at the cross-section, weighing 3.96g. On the underside iron corrosion suggests the shank was of iron. The decoration, staring from the reverse, begins as a shallow groove and a pair of shallow grooves widening and narrowing while extending outward a little then in again, around a central wide shallow groove.

An incomplete Roman (AD 43-100) copper alloy Colchester-derivative double-pierced lug type, missing its spring mechanism and pin. It measures 35.98mm in length and weighs 5.47g. The wings are C-shaped in cross-section and span 17.42mm, although one wing has perhaps suffered and (old) break. To the reverse is a double-pierced lug, the top of which extends above the wings to the top of the bow, with a transverse ridge for the chord.
