Part of a medieval key, probably of London type VI. The bow is incomplete but meets the stem at a right angle, so was probably originally lozenge-shaped. There is a double collar at the junction of stem and bow, now very worn, especially on one face. the stem is oval in cross-section and is hollow for about half its length; it has worn through to the hollow interior on the more worn face. Fragment of Rhineland lava quern, no original edges present. One face tooled with radial grooves, the other rough. Thickness 26mm. Weight 123g. Lava was imported in the Roman period and from the Middle Saxon to medieval periods. This fragment is most likely to be medieval, because a large majority of finds from the site are of the 12th - 14th century.

Silver-gilt pin head, spherical in shape. In the upper hemisphere are four rope twist design wires that spiral out and each of these joins to a partner spiral on the lower hemisphere. At the centre of the upper hemisphere is an 'S' shaped wire with a knop at each end of the figure. At the centre of the lower hemisphere is a tubular shaft with a rope twist design collar at the end not adjoining the pin head. Cast copper alloy harness fitting / suspension mount of probable 14th-century date (c.1250 - c.1450). The mount is sub-rectangular (T shaped) in plan with a wide horizontal bar from which descends two projections. The bar is rectangular in cross section. The horizontal bar is pierced by four holes (diameter 3.1mm) one in each corner. Two of these are torn and they seem to be countersunk suggesting that they would have held rivets. Incomplete cast copper alloy harness fitting / mount of probable later post medieval date (1600-1700). The mount would have originally been sub-circular in plan with two rectangular attachment plates - it is now incomplete being broken along one edge. In profile the mount is domed; convex or C shaped in cross section. The mount is decorated with a series of cast patterns. A Post-Medieval (1500-1700) silver gilt pendant in the form of a female bust between two outwardly-curving fronds. With the loop uppermost, the female is upside down. The bust has long hair, which runs into the top of the fronds, and the detail of both bust and fronds are the same on either side.
