This artefact is formed of a central lozengical in plan and flat in section body with a single rectangular in plan bar extending horizontally at either end. A broken and incomplete cast copper-alloy pin of uncertain date. The pin is broken at one end, the other tapers to a sharp point. The broken end, forms a blunt terminal and wasn't broken recently. The pin is all circular in section and has a slight irregular twist to the surface, not as decoration, but due to the manufacturing process. In plan the pin is bent at c. 45 ° towards the upper terminal, this may not be intentional. The surface has a mottled shiny mid brown/green patina. A cast copper-alloy mount of late Medieval or Post Medieval date. The mount is in the form of a trefoil with each leaf having three circular decorative perforations. Between each leaf, and integral to the mount there is a pointed oval leaf with a linear groove as decoration. At the centre of the trefoil there is a bulbous knop. A cast copper alloy strap fitting; decorative mount. In plan the mount is sub-circular and is moulded as a flower with multiple petals and a central pellet. The reverse of the mount has two integral, oval sectioned studs which taper to a blunt point. The surface of the mount is has traces of a green patina, but most of it is abraded and has red copper corrosion. The mount is 12.24mm long, 11.94mm wide and 6.28mm thick. It weighs 1g. An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper alloy dress hook. The dress hook is made of a single piece of cast copper alloy. The body of the dress hook is a moulded trefoil with openwork with an integral sub-trapezoidal loop protruding from the upper edge of the dress hook body. The reverse of the body is flat. The lower leaf of the trefoil is broken, not recently, therefore the hook element of the dress hook is missing. The surface of the dress hook has a an abraded surface which is a red/brown colour. A cast copper alloy purse bar fragment. The purse bar has a 'V' shaped section and is slightly curved in plan. One exterior face is decorated with linear grooves, forming a double-stranded cross hatching. The reverse face has a small hole to fix the fabric of the purse to the frame. The centre of the curved edge of the frame has a prominent notch which is triangular in plan. The frame is a rounded triangle in section. An incomplete flint pick of probable Early Neolithic date (3500 BC-2900 BC). The pick is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-trapezoidal in cross-section. It has probably been made from an elongated flint pebble. This implement is humped-backed. The dorsal face is mainly covered with cortex and has been knapped to form a cutting edge at the distal end. One side of the dorsal face has been crudely knapped along its entire length. An incomplete cast copper alloy horse harness bit link. It originally comprised two oval loops,one of which is now broken. They are separated by a narrowed arm with a raised collar next to the broken loop. The back of the object is flat and the front is convex. The broken loop may have done so as a result of wear because it would have been attached to the bit, adjacent to the cheekpiece, and could therefore swing (Williams 2007, p. 4). The vessel realtes to the Dubonnii tribe whose capital was based on Cirencester or Corinium Dubonnorum as it was known in Roman times a Civitas until 409AD and Gloucester known as Colonia Neviana Glevum. The Dubonnii lived in small villages concentrated in fertile valleys. Above and below these projections the leg is circular in cross-section. The foot is splayed and slightly convex on the underside. The metal is drab red with green corrosion products and traces of black lacquer. The break at the top is abraded. Height: 18.63mm; width of foot: 11.29mm; thickness of leg: 7.51mm. Weight: 9.58g.

A Neolithic or Bronze Age sub circular white flint 'pot lid' with cortex over the entire dorsal (natural) surface, and spots of iron staining on the ventral face. Modified to perform as a scraper by flaking, and retouching, along the entire edge. The straight edge has been created by a one large removal and then retouched. Probably Neolithic or Bronze Age (c3500 to c800 BC) but impossible to date accurately. Modified natural 'pot lids' would have made an expedient 'quick fix' tool in an emergency.
