Fragment of cast lead alloy, domed, dish shaped and bearing a pattern of raised lines, radiating but not meeting at the centre. These lines are linked by a line which runs around the mid point of the dome. Now damaged and incomplete. Nothing like this object can be found in Forsyth and Egan's book on lead toys but the 'feel' and finish suggest that it might have been part of a toy. Diameter 19.9mm, Height 8.1mm, Thickness 1.4mm, Mass 3.57g.

Strip of cast copper alloy both ends of which are decorated with three transverse grooves, widely space at one end; closely set at the other. Between these are two incised lines, one down each side of the strip. The strip was curved but is now bent to an angle of 70 degrees. It is impossible to determine if the strip has been truncated, if this is the case sufficient time has passed for the ends to have become patinated.Length 48.0mm, Width 5.9mm, Thickness 2.1mm, Mass 3.41g. Possibly part of a Roman bracelet.
