A cast lead Medieval seal matrix, c. 13th-14th century AD. The seal matrix is flat and circular in shape with what looks like the remains of a small suspension loop or tab on the reverse face, which is slightly dished. The obverse is incised with a legend which seems to read: S' ALICIEI . FIL'[IA] RIC', meaning that this is the seal of Alicia, daughter of Richard.
