Medieval gilt copper alloy buckle:oval frame with offset, narrowed bar and convex outside edge; tapering strip pin; rectangular folded sheet plate in distorted and partly abraded condition, with five rivet holes, two containing convex headed rivets, and an engraved line around the sides and edges, most of which has been lost. Frame 14 x 22.5mm. Plate 15.5 x 40mm., the rear part, apparently intact, much smaller, 12 x 17mm. Overall length c.52mm. 13th - 14th century.

Roman copper alloy hinged bow brooch, almost entirely covered in a ferrous concretion so that no decorative detail is visible, only the ends of the wings and a small part at the midpoint of the slightly straightened bow being exposed. The pin is missing. The bow, of flattish cross-section, widens to the head and narrows to the foot. The wings are long and narrow. In overall form comparable to T-shape brooches, e.g. Hattatt fig. 161 no. 917. Wingspan 31mm. Length c.47mm. Late 1st - 2nd century.

Late Saxon or Medieval copper alloy mount, possibly from furniture. Cast in the form of a possible wyvern with an animal-head terminal, above which there are a pair of wings and a tail comprising two slightly oblique feathers flanking a central feather ending in a trefoil at the apex. There is a perforation at the apex and and the base of the central feather, one of the flanking feathers has a chamfered blind hole and the other has a possible rivet-hole containing a copper alloy rivet. There is a tapering projection on the reverse of the animal-head terminal which appears to be broken…

Incomplete Romano-British copper alloy protected-loop terret. Just over half of the circular-sectioned ring, which springs from a collar with a deep groove on each long face, is missing. Almost all of the original edge of the skirt is missing, the one short section of surviving edge possibly suggesting a multifoil form, with a curved, round-sectioned attachment loop benieth. The surviving part of the ring, which does not appear to be distorted, shows the loop was a shallow oval. Surviving height 32mm. Surviving length and width of skirt 32mm and 24mm. Late 1st century.
