A clipped medieval silver groat of Edward IV, First reign (1461-1470). Type Vb(II) obverse muled with Type Vc reverse (North 1566 (obverse)/1567 (reverse)). Initial mark: rose, dating to 1464-1465. Mint of London. North (1991, 86). The coin measures 26.2mm in diameter, 0.83mm in thickness and weighs 2.7g This is a rare coin, but as a mule it is particularly noteworthy and has been marked down as such.

A Medieval hammered silver groat of Queen Mary circa 1553-54. A very worn and flan damaged coin. Obverse has crowned bust facing left with an inscription (MARIA DG ANG_ _ _ __ _ _ B REG _) there is a pomegranate mintmark after Maria. The reverse has a shield bearing the royal arms beneath a cross and the inscription ( _ _ _ ITA STEM PORIS FILI _ ) there is a pomegranate mark before Temporis North number 1960.

An incomplete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) single looped buckle frame (c. 450-600). The pin is missing. This oval frame is convex at the front and steeply bevelled at the rear. On the upper surface, adjacent to each end of the bar (now missing), are six transverse decorative grooves. There is an off-centre depression on the upper surface of the outer edge where the pin-tip has rested. Stubs of the bar have survived. A Medieval to post-Medieval leg/foot from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel (c. 1250-1650). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section. The front is divided by a prominent horizontal rib which is situated close to a transverse break at the top. Below this rib there are four vertical ribs. An incomplete Medieval cast copper-alloy buckle plate (c. 1270-1350). The plate is sub-rectangular in plan. At the loop end it is straight and broken and has a pin slot/hole measuring 5.62 x 4.57mm. Close to this hole there is another smaller hole, 1.50mm in diameter. At the opposite end, the sides of the plate taper abruptly then expand to form a trefoil-shaped projection. At the centre of the trefoil there is a copper-alloy rivet. The front of the plate is decorated with a voided saltire cross which is pierced at it centre by the aforementioned smaller hole. A complete and corroded cast copper-alloy unidentified object of Unknown date and uncertain function. This implement is roughly square in cross-section and tapers in width and thickness from its centre towards each pointed end. The surfaces are pitted and uneven and the ends are blunt. Small areas of a shiny dark green patina have survived. Length: 68.29mm; width: 5.02mm; thickness: 4.84mm. Weight: 7.47g.

A fragment of a probable post-Medieval cast copper-alloy rowel spur (1500-1700). This fragment is part of one side which was situated close to the end with the attachment loops. It is pointed-oval in cross-section throughout its length. It is light green with red showing through and has patches of a dark green patina. The break at the larger end appears to be more recent then the break at the smaller end. Length: 42.73mm; width: 8.84mm; thickness: 3.17mm. Weight: 4.08g. Smaller end: 4.41 x 2.48mm.

Incomplete Early Saxon copper alloy sheet wrist clasp hook-plate, applied bar and most of the hook missing, both of the attachment holes broken through to the rear edge. A thin layer of silvery solder (5.5mm across) marks the position of the bar along the front edge. The rear edge and sides are followed by lines of annular stamps. Hines 1993, form B13a. 12.5 x 31mm. Thickness 0.5mm. Early 6th century.

A post-Medieval to Modern cast lead or lead alloy circular double-sided token (c. 1500-1850). The token has raised initial letters on one side: I C and arcs and pellets on the other side. Diameter: 21.5mm. Weight: 8.09g. Lead tokens had a wide variety of uses and were made locally, they are therefore hard to date precisely but those with initials are thought to date c. 1500-1850.

A Medieval silver penny of probably Edward 3rd 1327-77. The coin is quite worn with several scuff damaged areas to the flan making certain identification difficult. Obverse has facing crowned bust with an annulet on the breast. The legend uses double saltire stops and seems to have a cross pattee initial mark ARDVS * REX * ANGLIE The reverse has a long cross with three pellets in each quarter with just DVR visible in the legend (probably Durham)
