Slightly distorted Roman copper alloy Hod Hill Bagendon type brooch, pin and half of the forward-rolled top of the head missing. There are three knobs on each side of the bow and a vertical row of pellets between two fine ribs on either side of a central groove. These end at a double transerve moulding. Length 45mm. Head width 12mm. Hattatt 1989, 323, fig. 182. Mackreth 2011 Hod Hill Type 12.a3 (ibid. 142-143, plate 97). Mid to late 1st century. Finder's number A5.

An incomplete silver plated Roman denarius of Claudius I (AD 41-54), dating to the period c.AD 41-54 (Reece Period 2). PACI AVGVSTAE reverse type depicting Pax-Nemesis advancing right holding caduceus over snake, drawing drapery from beneath chin. Prototype of the mint of Rome. cf. RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 122, no. 10 for the reverse type. This coin has corroded extensively on both faces, with a loss of the silver plating and legend on the obverse.

A rim sherd from a cast copper-alloy vessel of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. It is rectangular in form and section, terminating in old breaks in all directions. A separately cast copper-alloy rivet with flattened heads has been pushed through the object indicating its repair or usage as a repair on a larger vessel. The fragment measures 20.44mm in width, 19.50mm in length, 4.11mm in thickness and 3.01g in weight. It is of probable later Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.15th-17th centuries AD.

The coin weight weighs 9.1g and measures 19.98mm diameter and is 4.37mm thick. The coin weight is for a Portuguese moidor dating to c. 1720 and 1740 (Withers P. & B.R. Lions, Ships and Angels Galata Print. Powys p. 45).

Cast copper-alloy horse-harness pendant, possibly. The possible pendant has a circular body with eight integral trifoliate knops on a short stem. Only two of the knops are complete. The body of the pendant has a high-relief four-legged animal passant, possibly a lion. In the field around the animal there is a glossy, shiny hard red enamel patches. An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1650) copper-alloy thimble of cast construction, with a sharp dent across the slightly domed top. It stands 20.32mm tall and weighs 7.17g. The top is flattish with slightly flared sides. The drilled oval and rectangular pits begin in the centre of the top and continue in a continuous spiral to the base in a regular fashion. Above the base is a plain rim with a circumferential groove close to the open end. The thimble measures 20.43x19.01mm at the open end (internal 17.72x16.75mm) and c.15.5mm in diameter at the top of the walls.
