A complete post-medieval copper-alloy thimble. With spiral hand-punched indentations over the whole thimble including the crown, apart from a plain band around the bottom. The thimble has been flattened, and is significantly corroded, obscuring much of the detail. The thimble dates to the 16th century.

A post-Medieval 17th century cast copper alloy mount with two integral lugs on the reverse. The mount is sub-triangular in plan. There is floriate and curvilinear decoration and possibly a front facing head at the top. It is dark black-green in colour, with traces of a black lacquer. It is 24mm long, 8.5mm wide, 2.2mm thick and weighs 1.72g. It could be a belt mount or horse furniture. Mounts with similar shape and decoration can be seen in Read. 2001. Fig. 20, Pg.35. A similar object can be found on the database: ESS-56C795.

A incomplete cast copper-alloy medieval one piece hooked tag. The tag is convex with moulded relief. It has a solid-domed boss bearing a classical-style human facing-mask within two concentric circles , the inner linear and the outer pellets, and a cabled border. The hook is missing. The loop is trapazoidal in shape. Cf. Read. 2008. Class E, Type 3, No. 323. This style of hooked tag has been found in contexts dating from 1500 to 1625 AD.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Bronze Age flat axe. It consists of the blade edge and a small portion of the body. The axe probably dates to the early Bronze Age, c2150-1500 BC. The axe fragment is curved and wider at the blade end. It then narrows and thickens along the body. The blade end shows use of ware with pieces missing along the edge. There are no markings or fixings visible on the axe for further identification. The fragment measures 64.9mm long, 71mm wide at the blade and 40.9mm wide athe the break end. It is 9.8mm at its thickest point and weighs 173 grams.
