A Medieval cast copper alloy thimble. The thimble is squashed, cracked and incomplete. The rim reveals the thimble is made with a single shell. The exterior of the rim is decorated with a single linear groove above which there are rows of conical shaped indentions which also cover the apex of the thimble. The thimble, in profile is quite squat. The surface of the thimble is abraded and has a matte light blue/green patina. It is 22.54mm long and 32.26mm wide at the base. It weighs 4g. Sheet copper alloy object, rectangular with a square notch at one end, probably to accommodate a buckle pin, their undersides are curved to encircle a bar. One of the side lugs is made up of two layers of sheet metal, a feature difficult to parallel. The plate is distorted, probably by the insertion of a 6.5mm diameter iron nail or rivet. This may be a secondary feature.

A cast copper alloy thimble, of medieval date. The rim is unthickened and there is a band at the base of the thimble which is undecorated. There is an incised line above this band and above that, covering the rest of the thimble sides and top, is covered in a series of circular indentations. The indentations run in vertical rows. A cast copper alloy late Medieval thimble. The thimble is made from a single shell which is slightly squashed and the lower portion of the thimble is missing due to damage. The lower broken edge is not recent. The surface of the thimble is covered with columns of conical shaped indentions and covers the apex of the thimble. The surface of the thimble is heavily abraded and has a matte dark grey surface. The thimble is 12.6mm tall and 20.44mm wide at the base. It weighs 2.2g. Holmes (Holmes, E.F. Cast copper alloy buckle with sheet metal wrap-around plate and wire pin. The frame is rectangular with an expanded outer edge both faces of which are decorated with three, central, transverse lines. On each side of the frame are two small projections. Bar off-set. Plate made from a piece of 0.5mm thick sheet copper alloy secured by a single rivet. In London buckles of this form occur in contexts dating from 1350-1400 (Egan and Pritchard 1991, Fig. 61).

A piece of sheet lead alloy, probably waste from metal working. The dating of this item is uncertain, but it may have been associated with the production of net weights, also found in this area. It is 65.8mm long, 40.1mm wide and 10.3mm thick. It weighs 59.34gm. The metal is patinated to a yellow colour, and one edge is folded inwards. This waste item was stored with an assemblage of thirty two net weights recorded on the database at reference SWYOR-F980C7. Additional items of waste were also reported from the same location and are recorded at reference SWYOR-FA91B1.

The coin has two semi-circular cut outs at 3 and 9 o'clock on the obverse. These semi-circular cut-outs are a feature of numerous coins from this assemblage and it may be that they are votive in nature.

An incomplete cast copper alloy strap end of medieval date. The strap end is composite with a forked spacer, though the fork no longer remains. The main plate of the strap end is circular with a central circular perforation through which the remains of the back plate can be seen.
