A pierced Roman copper-alloy nummus of Constantine II dating to the period AD 328 to 329 (Reece period 16). VIRTVS CAESS reverse type depicting gateway with four turrets. Mint of Arles. Mintmark: S/F//TCONS[T] RIC VII, p. 269, no. 322.
Obverse: Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust left; CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C
Reverse: Gateway with four turrets; VIRTVS CAESS
Diameter: 19.1mm. Weight: 2.21g. DA=12:12.
The coin is pierced with a circular hole at six o' clock on the obverse and is 2.04mm in diameter.
